PTI Engineered Plastics Expands Clean Room Capacity Growth in Controlled Environment Manufacturing Spurs PTI to Expand Cleanroom. Adhering to the strict protocol & methods in Cleanroom design, PTI has completed the planning phase of this room and is now in the construction phase of their 3000 sq. ft. expansion. The ISO 8 (Class 100,000) facility is schedule for completion the 3rd quarter of 2009. This new environment will house 22-245 Ton Press Size (shot size - 1.1 to 20.8 ounce) and will include full-molding, assembly, secondary operations, and packaging capabilities. Policy and procedures will ensure compliance with the Cleanroom Standards ISO14644 PTI's Cleanroom Management Team will handle the critical elements of maintaining, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the environment. The expansion, when completed, will allow PTI the ability to provide more stringent & comprehensive contamination-control methods, while applying some of the newest technologies in the industry to your product and help you meet the purity challenges of tomorrow.
